| The two principals of the firm are licensed professional engineers and between them have more than fifty years of engineering experience. They supervise a technical staff of engineers, surveyors, technicians, draftsmen and CAD operators and utilize the latest technologies and software to enable resources to be kept as up-to-date as possible. |

Mr. Drum has over twenty years of experience in the civil engineering field, and has been a practicing professional engineer in Maryland for more than seventeen years. Before founding Drum Associates in 1991, Mr. Drum served as a Project Engineer with several well-known land development companies, including the firms of Dewberry & Davis and Greenman Pedersen, Inc. Areas of expertise include Anne Arundel County and City of Annapolis development regulatory process (including critical area regulations and restrictions), residential and commercial site planning, storm water management design, storm drainage, roadway layout and design, water distribution systems, and sewer and septic systems. In addition, Mr. Drum serves as an expert in the field of civil engineering and has provided professional testimony to numerous Boards and Courts in support of clients' projects. His ability to coordinate all facets of land development provides client satisfaction through aesthetic, economical and quality-driven projects. Mr. Drum is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Maryland.

Mr. Loyka joined Drum, Snell & Associates, LLC in June 2002 as a principal to the firm, bringing with him over 31 years of experience in the civil engineering and land development field. Mr. Loyka has served as an Engineering Department Head and Senior Project Manager with the firm of The Tech Group, Inc. and as Land Development Department Head and Project Engineer with the firm of Dewberry & Davis in Annapolis. He has extensive experience in all aspects of project management including project planning, client coordination, project expediting, and construction coordination. Areas of expertise in civil engineering include hydrology and hydraulics, storm water management, highway design, utility design, and sediment control. Mr. Loyka is also proficient in all areas of land development planning and engineering, including both residential and commercial projects. Mr. Loyka is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Maryland.
