Orient Express Hotels commissioned Drum, Loyka & Associates to entirely renovate this historic hotel on a large waterfront site on the Miles River in St Michaels, Maryland. The project required complete coordination from the outset to maximize potential along the valuable but under-used waterfront portion of the site, whilst integrating strict environmental restrictions. After careful coordination with all stakeholders, Drum,Loyka & Associates obtained full approvals according to the owner's stringent schedule for project completion. The firm was subsequently retained to complete modifications to the site design, accommodating a revised concept for the onsite health spa facility.
