1901 West Street Apartments
Overview
This planned, mixed-use project consists of five four-story buildings on a 6.5-acre urban campus connected by sidewalks, skywalks, and internal roadways at the site of a former lumber yard. Drum, Loyka & Associates designed 300 residential units with private clubhouse, pool, multi-level (and underground) parking facilities, along with ground-level retail space. The project required widening of adjacent State and City roadways, the redirection of overhead utilities underground, the design of a large underground storm water management trench for site runoff, the extension of public water and sewer mains throughout and a study to confirm the adequacy of the downstream sewer conveyance piping.
